Make up?

Post » Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:02 am

Since we can customize are characters with face paint already, would it be too much to ask for make up?
Females could put on different colors of lip stick and eye shadow and eye liner and lip gloss and blush.
A bunch of different options.
In oblivion we had eye liner and you could make your lips dark red but that's it.
I'd like to be able to apply make up.
Dragon age 2 had a lot of options with make up and so did saints row 2.
Maybe we can get a lot of make up options in skyrim?
We could have smokey eye or hoker eye shadow or Anything in between.

I don't care, the option is always nice. I personally don't want to wear any makeup on my dude, so I voted IDC and NO.

Yes to both, although I personally suggest making the first poll option allow for only one answer. Sometimes I want to make a pretty-looking female, while other times I want to make a crossdressing man. Freedom of choice, man!

I don't see why not. I'll be playing a male Bosmer with some sort of tribal face paint or tattoo.

No. Blood + makeup on your face isn't a good combination.

Mascara is in, Todd mentioned it in a recent interview when talking about the character creation.

Mascara has been confirmed afaik so other types of make up isn't out of the question. That said I don't really care tbh.

I think eyeliner and lipstick would suffice.

I'd like the option to draw symbols on my character, so I can draw runes on my Norse character.

Seems like a fair option I guess. Doesn't matter to me since I almost never choose a female character in rpgs, but I don't see anything wrong with the idea.

They probably look like http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/1118719-1313515576.jpg
Didn't take long to find a picture like that on TESNexus, because they're literally everywhere.
Such a sad... depressing devolution of a game

Well I play on console so I can't take screen shots but I usually make high elf ladies with the eye liner option all the way to the right lowest age highest complexion, and satin blonde stick twist hair with the blue velvet dress.

My characters are, contrastingly, ages at 30-50ish, rough complexion, tanned skin (if human), strong features, and short hair. To each their own I suppose. I would post screens, but I play on console too.

However, I suppose if they did add make-up, I wouldn't use it, so no skin of my nose. More options is never a bad thing.

No. Make-up is dumb and people always look better without it. If you're really ugly then the amount of make-up you'll need to cover that up will just make you look silly instead.

If they do include make-up, which, again, I hope they do not, then men should be able to have it too.

However, physical appearance and attractiveness doesn't always seem to be as important in Tamriel as it is in the real world. I don't think it would be necessary, even less so in Skyrim, land of the Nords, where beauty is probably seen more in strength and power.

In the Victorian era, didint high ranking nobles were powdered wigs and make there faces white with red make up whether they were a man or a woman?
I think nobles should dress like this.

Never?
So it would be a good thing to add guns then? Or to add final fantasy armor? Or the possibility to have hair gel and piercing and anti-wrinkle creams for old characters?
More options is never a bad thing, right?

...
