That's cool.

If you don't have a 3D printer then cardboard is your friend.

Cardboard pipboy:

Cool ranger helmet over here too:

If you have some time (like from now to Nov) you can probably get at least one of these made with trial and error (and cardboard). It's not hard it's just about patience and having a willingness to mess up and then try again.

A cardboard pipboy could also be custom fit to any phone and it'd look as good as your paint job - which is potentially better than the one that ships with the game. It won't survive rough handling but neither will the plastic one.

It's the perk above the one where you can use your ass as an rock it launcher.

Aren't there stores that provide 3D printing services at low costs? I say that is better than buying a 3D printer, especially if you would only use it to make yourself a Pip-Boy

I feel that people overestimate just exactly how wide-spread 3D Printers actually are. I've never even seen one or even been to a place that has any.

Unfortunately, We all can't access 3D printers otherwise we'd all have our own Pip-Boys.

It mainly depends on where you live. Large cities such as Washington D.C. and San Francisco tend to have multiple shops that perform 3D printing work. If I remember correctly, I believe there are also some UPS stores that offer 3D printing services.

Unfortunately I live a few hours away from the nearest large city as I'm sure many people do.

There are public libraries in big cities in the US with 3D printers useable by the public.

There are places online you can upload your model to and they will ship you the result.

Shapeways comes to mind but they're not the only one.

This may not be a cheap item to print though. It's pretty big.
