I'm liking everything I see so far, but I'm not doing the Hot/Not thing at the moment. I just like seeing the creativity and seeing these characters (some of which I've heard about for months now) in person.

On a side note, the thing that really bugs me are the glasses and other "modern" accessories. That would just ruin the entire medieval feel of the game for me. But whateva.

Well, there were spectacles back then, so were hats. Hats should atleast have been in the game. Fine, not cowboy hats or feroda's, but hats like the one http://www.planestupid.com/files/images/errol-flynn-robin-hood1.jpg wears, or like http://ishenal.com/resources/zelda1.jpg wears.. what about http://vulcanstev.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/van-helsing1.jpg?

All of them wear hats, and all are middle age characters..

It is true that there is some evidence of eyeglasses in the High Middle Ages, in the 1300s or so. But they were an extremely rare item, not something in common use. They really did not come into their own until long after the Middle Ages were over. And Van Helsing is a character set at the end of the 19th Century, nowhere near the Middle Ages. The Robin Hood hat is a good call. http://www.virtue.to/articles/mens_hats.html

...some evidence of eyeglasses in the High Middle Ages, in the 1300s or so.

It seems the Wiki agrees with you: "...it is almost certain that spectacles were invented between 1280 and 1300 in Italy. The inventor was Salvino D'Armate."

But that's almost beside the point. Elm is my all-time favorite Oblivion character. I would bend space and time to put her in any game.

Hey guys I just wanted to start up a new thread that spurred off another one I've seen here. (Am I hot? Or NOT?) I started new characters this week and I tried to make them “good-looking” in a sense. I'm going to post screen shots of them and a description of who and what they are. I would love to see screen shots of “new” characters that you guys have made and I want tips on how to make a good looking character and your opinions about that. Feel free to tell us about your new or current characters made, and you can include screen shots if you would like.

*BTW these characters are made on an Unmodded Xbox 360

My first character is somewhat of a typical ranger/hunter/druid type. He prefers nature and large cities
overwhelm him, although he doesn't show that because he is distances himself from his feelings. This is due to his turbulent past. He currently has joined the fighters guild for training for he wants to improve and hone his abilities as well as come to terms with people socially.

Name: Clagius
Race: Imperial
Age: 26
Class: Nomad-Ranger

Here is an image, feel free to coment and give tips on the "look" of him

http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz248/translucentshade/oblivion01013.jpg

The second character is a spellsword I just made a few moments ago, I plan that he is going to be scholarly-warrior that wants to make himself mentally and physically pure and perfect. I call his class a "purist", his traits I have not worked out yet. As you might be able to tell, I used the same face model for these characters with some varying differences, for I'm trying to make them my ideal of "attractive" which is all subjective.

Name: Bernand
Race: Breton
Age: 20
Class: Purist Spellsword

http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz248/translucentshade/oblivion01006-1.jpg

And here is a character I posted before, I made to be atracttive. Lets see what you guys think.

Dude this is amazing could you put up a picture of the number spicifications you used so i could try to atlleast get a character that i remotely as attractive?

This thread has me inspired to try to make a more beautiful face for my next character than the default face. Shall be fun when I get around to doing so.

I grabbed a few screenies of my main character while I was playing just now. She's not exactly what I would call hot, but pretty enough for how devastatingly bad I am at using the face modifiers. :P I'm running Oblivion on lowish quality graphics at the moment, because my computer is dying from the amount of crap I have on it. I'll have to clean it up and take prettier pictures of her and the rest of my characters at some point, but this is the best I can do ATM.

It's just retextured Glass armor from a mod called Blood Glass Armor, if I remember correctly. :) And thanks for the compliment, I'm pretty proud of myself for actually coming up with a face that's not all bad... even if it was four years ago, and now my faces have just gotten worse and worse.

Thanks, guys. :) I was kind of going for a woman who looks like she can defend herself and is an able fighter, but "cute" works too. :P

Yeah, the armor is really nice. I don't particularly like the original in-game Glass armor, and my characters all use Light armor so I kind of needed the Glass for higher levels... but retextures fix all my problems, thank God. Mods make my games worth playing.

Best I've done face wise. About 20 minutes of work. Made the Xiviliai(or however it's spelled) look better, IMO.

Not as pro as all the rest, but then again, this is the only time I ever bothered with the sliders.

Definitely hot. I like the retextured glass armor. I use another mod that gives glass armor and weapons a bluish-white appearance.

Camarilla's new armor: http://i54.tinypic.com/11r7xap.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/2cohjkm.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/2ry3e4g.jpg.

Needless to say, Mr. Hedge Wizard was having a bad day and didn't make it.

Also tweaked her face a bit: http://i56.tinypic.com/w22kwy.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/264q49x.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/sqib6u.jpg

Camarilla is looking pretty sixy.

I would've tweaked the face a bit further, but you've done well. :tops:

Which is why I would've tweaked the face. The body is pretty hot though.

Well, that armor probably doesn't protect her much. :P Or maybe she just stuns all her foes with her feminine beauty. That works too!

Lol, thanks! =)

I'm not at all into the little girl anime look with cute button noses and enormous eyes. This is pretty much my idea of the perfect womans (not girl) face, so no further tweaking will be done =)

Hey, Camarilla looks great just the way she is. :goodjob:

Perhaps she will find some armor that covers her bits up a little better, but on the other hand, the stuff she is wearing should certainly attract those farm boys! :P
