Making Jarl Elisif Unessential

Hello Dragonborn's/DovahKiin's :smile: I'm Having some problems/mistake's making Jarl Elisif the fair unessential, i tried too find the console command for 3 hours until now, i would thank you for putting out the console command, I neeed someone too put the console Command ITSELF, thanks for reading the topic, Regards Also i aplogise if this is in the wrong category, I'm new.

setessential 1326a 0 should do the trick.

For future reference, the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page has all of the info you would need for this sort of thing...console commands, ID's, etc. It can take a bit, but once you get the hang of the place, it's very helpful. :smile:

I can think of about 50 more annoying (advlt) characters that I'd be more likely to want to de-essentialize, though.

EDIT*

When i did the command, i tried too kill Jarl Elisif..but the Game dropped frame rates very hard but what happend is SHE Did not died she got knocked out and escaped when i was loosing frame rates

Lol i would think of the same thing, but i want too kill elisif because of a mod i use here.

IIRC setessential on the BaseID just stops any more references created from becoming essential, but if Elisif is already instantiated (i.e. you've met her), then it's too late. SKSE command SetRefEssential will work, using the RefID, after she exists.

No, that's wrong. SetEssential is applied retroactively to all spawned actors, as it's a base actor setting.

Elisif remains essential due to an alias in "Boethiah's Calling." You should complete the quest or use:

SetConsoleScopeQuest DA02EmptyRefAlias ElisifEssential

It's all going to depend on whether the attribute gets copied from the Base form, or just links back to it. I thought the essential flag was copied at creation; or at least load, so you'd have to leave the cell and come back in again. I know any one of those things that I want to change is always in the "not now" category.
