Sorry if there is another thread like this im new to the forums. So i was thinking i could make a thread were the general idea was we would post things like SPECIAL, skill points , gear etc and we would help eachother out on ideas and things like that.

What i have so far is im going to make my char based around guns,lockpicking,speach and repair i might add energy weapons near the end.

What kind of gear would work well with this character?

Aside from a few specialize weapon (or rather most EW), appropriate skill is all you need.

Perks, or Orthodox SPECIAL is where character building gets interesting.
