Making a New Female Altmer: Let me know what you think of th

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 10:48 am

I'm thinking of rolling a new female Altmer. Some names I'm thinking of are:
Cinwen, Cinwe, Cindil, Cinne, Cindalin, Vawen, Vanya (sounds like a Russian boy's name), Rewen, Sonwen, Soren, Soen, Sorie, Minarie, Minlie, Minith, Minwen, Eiya, Eirie, Eiwen (sounds a it like my current avatar), Eifire, Eiwe, Eilie, Cirawen, Cirawy, Ciradora, Cirawae, Ciraline, Cirafire, Niven, Taven, Giwen, Girie.

These are all based of name parts from the collection of female altmer names on the uesp.
What do y'all think? If you have used one of these names, please let me know. I don't really want to steal names or have repeats.

eDIT: she's gonna be the friendly neighborhood dragonborn type, I think. Will use no magic for the most part.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on choosing the right race to play.

And as for the name, I haven't used any of those myself (oddly enough, all my female Altmer throughout all TES have always been called Marinn, which I made up myself).
Niven and Eifire strike to me as best of the names off your list. Altmer women don't seem to have much of a code to their names, so you are essentially free to use whatever name you want that sounds alien enough not to be a human name. But off your list, Niven or Eifire.
