Making a Nuka Cola Quantum

Post » Thu Jun 06, 2013 1:29 pm

I need a little help.

I have made my own Quantum, using tonic water and berol ink.

It looks okay when putting it on a LED touch light, but i know it would look so much better to use a black light (UV light), and it would be brilliant to find a touch light style black light (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41quwVZ2t4L._SY300_.jpg) so i can put the bottle on top like a display, or something small enough to fit under the bottle, but powerful enough to light the entire bottle contents.

Anyone know where i can find a cheap black light like that on the internet? Or any ideas on what i can use instead?

You will probably have to get a Black light Flashlight from here

http://www.blacklightworld.com/

And make a base with it.

This place has dyes so that you can make just about any of the Nuka Cola variants

EDIT Who would have thought, Home Depot has what your looking for

This place has others to look at

I'd go for a magnlite (think that's how it's spelt) a blacklight bulb and build a stand around it

Be careful which kind you get if you find one second hand. You want the UVA [long wave] light, not the germicidal UVC [short wave] light. The UVB and UVC are dangerous to look at directly; but even UVA lights have risks over time.
