[WIP] making rocks seamless - UV corrections

These look excellent, any plans to do the expansions too? They're generally not as badly modeled as Morrowind's rocks but I did notice some seams in Bloodmoon.

i was unable to work on it this week . a 16 year old girl with a 2 week old license hit my parked car and pushed it into the neighbors front yard . she was not hurt . my car is totaled . i spend my "free time" dealing with this . should be able to get back to the mod this week and get a release out if all goes well .

How on earth do some people earn their licences? Sorry to hear about the car and your drive Nich, things could be worse believe me.

Take your time, get things sorted and worry about a release when you have time. I am just glad you have not forgotten about it. :)

Sorry to here about the car. On the bright side at least you weren't in the car when it got hit.

Everyone in my family family is usually in the car, unfortunately. My mothers car got hit from behind when she waiting to take a turn last year...good thing my mothers car has steel bumpers. Didn't stop the guy from driving away with the front of his car totaled though. Not that I can blame him, since he already had a warrant out for his arrest. In fact, I don't think the cops ever did manage to find him. They find the car ditched in the trees by the fire station though.

ok ... the jinx is over i think

with my dvd player not working my friend who is a MS certified admin "fixed" it for me . . . he just reinstalled the OS . good thing i backed everything up first . . . he is such a moron .

bought a new car today . old one is totaled and should have a check tuesday for the old one .

after being layed off just 2 weeks before the stock market crashed i start a new job monday . that i really needed

so today between all the phone calls i was able to do the RM region . just in blender . have not checked ingame but i thought i would give the next temporary release since i might not get back to it this weekend . i need people to look and make sure i didn't mess anything up . . . and there is a good chance i did with all the interruptions .

Did a very quick test. I don't remember where this region is, but it loaded MW without errors.

yes , RM is the red mountain area . but these rocks also show up outside the bitter coase (BC) and caldera mine in the west gash (WG) area .

i did a quick look around . somehow i lost terrain_rock_RM_5 and terrain_rock_RM_16 . not in the archive or on my harddrive . i must have missed them between all the phone calls and mesh editing today . i will try to get to these before putting this on PES .

Fantastics work just by comparing two screenshots I was sold. My newest most use texture fix mod. Slartibartfast's texture fix for rocks :). I only has one request, please make a RELZ and submit it too PES and I'll give you a big 10.

EDIT: But I have too admit that I have never been studied any particular rock in Morrowind and therefore never noticted such things. But the same thing was also true the first time I visited http://www.freewebs.com/slartibartfast1/index.htm site. And now I have been using all of his mods ever seens. Meybe someday you and other great modder will correct all grafical leftovers that Bethesda didn't got time too truly fix before releasing back in 2002 :)

Terribly sorry to hear about your car, but looks like you've made a full recovery with the new job and all, I'm sure you'll bounce back and be at 100% in no time. :)

Again, thanks for the awesome work. Can't wait 'til the official release (though it's a totally mandatory mod as it is).

i have not had time to finish the few remaining meshes . if i can't get to them this weekend i will just release the latest beta to PES . should not take to long to put a README file together and upload .

[EDIT] now that i think of it i also made the diverse ore mod seamless and if i remember that readme it allows it to be used as a resource . should be able to upload that this weekend also . [/EDIT]

Yea. :ahhh: I've been using you your done so far and they work great. :bowdown:

I have noticed the Bethesda mirrors some bounders. Which can make a seamed bounder look bad.

Not yet, it`s part of a huge mod, im continuing on the "morrowind 2006" mod if you remember that.
My goal is to enhance nearly all meshes in the game(statics, misc items, buildings, lights, ingredients, containers, flora, rocks, you name it)
With enhancing i mean higher polycount, better texture seams, bumpmapping. And some meshes will be replace by new ones.

Im already 80% finished with the misc items, containers, apparatuses, and rocks.
