Making Sammiches in Skyrim

Post » Fri Nov 26, 2010 8:44 am

I know when we make potions, it all has the same look as a bottle in Oblivion. I thought it was odd when I combine bread, cheese, lettuce, tomato, flax seeds (since we got no sesame seeds), venison (lol), etc. = A BOTTLE. This should make a sammich. I should see a sammich in my inventory. What I'm saying is, not everything we make should be in drinkable form. There should at least be solids with some kind of look that, of course would work like a potion. Then again it would be a lot of work unless they showed it in a generic form.

Now I'm hungry. XD

But yeah, would be nice to create solid foods and not just potions.

Except you're mixing them together in a mortar and pestle, then straining them through an alembic etc.

Solution: cook things at campfires (New Vegas style).

The question is, where are you going to get peanut butter in Skyrim?

Yes, I can see it..... high in the mountains of Skyrim, our hero takes a break from his great battle with the üBER DRAGON. "Got me some lettuce, tomato, rat meat, and a loaf of bread. It's sammich time!" (assembles sandwich) "Mmm! Looks tasty! All I need now is to have my sammich toasted!"

And that was all the incentive the dragon needed to incinerate our hero, along with his rat-meat sammich.

Yep, I think sammiches belong in the game. And there should be a sammich-making skill, I think.

I think someone deserves a fish stick.
Also, I think fish sticks should be in the game.

YOU SIR DESERVE A SAMMICH! Brilliant. Our whole quest might be based on getting our sammich toasted.

Two different type of weapons equip-able, hold x (on xbox, whatever the "pull out/put away" button is) to change. You could have dagger and sword, staff and dagger, bow and sword etc. = look bad-ass and you don't have to go into your menu or press a hotkey to change weapons. I don't know if it would actually make it easier on pc but it would on xbox.

Well I know one thing... it wouldn't make making sammiches any easier. :shifty:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Ahem, anyway.
I agree that we should be able to cook solid foods or something akin. Someone already mentioned a New Vegas style campfire cooking, sounds good to me.

Somtimes, in Oblivion, I would mix a potato, a leek, and an onion together and name it Potato Leek Soup... I would love to be able to make vitual sandwiches.

Screw questing, I wanna open a deli!

We'll give male characters the option of marrying females around the world, and if you buy a house you can ask them to make you a sandwich.

Also, bonus to strength and driving horse riding skills.
