Making a WoW style hunter.....

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 12:48 am

Ello peoples, I play MW on PC and haven't really done much with it. Still trying to find my most comfy class, but anyways thats not why I'm here.

I'm trying to make a World of Warcraft style hunter, basically a Archer with a pet. Can I use console commands to like "tame" a Creature? So it would follow me around and attack stuff? Like my lil' bodyguard I have with one of my other characters? Now please don't suggest mods cause for some reason I can never get them to work and I've read the instruction thread bleh bleh bleh.

Thanks in advance.

Without mods...
You will need either command creature or summoned pets. Luckily, both are under the school of Conjuration. You could also use Conjuration to summon a really nice bow (no arrows, unfortunately). Good luck :)

edit-Soultrap glitch (I think) could cause a permanent pet if you so wished. I don't know how it works, though.

The console command described http://uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:AIFollow might do the trick, but it might need some tweeking you want it to protect you. That I don't know, haven't used it much but it should be possible. Try examining http://uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Categorical_Function_List#Console for commands you might need.
