After completing the Forsworn Conspiracy quest I find myself always being confronted by the guards and when offering to pay said fine they always say no and want to take me to prison, BUT when I agree to go quietly the conversation starts all over again. If I exit out of the convo the guards go hostile and run me out of makrath, obviously its a glitch is there anyway to fix it because I have some other missions to do inside the walls.

Many, many people are having this problem with Markarth. I can't step anywhere close to Markarth without being attacked or confronted by guards.

For roleplaying purposes, I am going to stay completely out of Markarth and just assume I am a wanted man there for ill reasons. At least until people can start figuring out ways around this issues, if there are any.

That was only my second quest, I believe. I had many more to do in that city.

After racking up a huge bounty in the Makrath area, today a debt collector came up to me and I paid him the bounty plus is cut. Its been a few game days now and Im wondering how long does it take for the bounty to be paid officially so I can go back to Makrath?
