MalDo's texure pack SHOULD work with 1.9

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 2:45 pm

I haven't tried it but a work around for people using 32-bit/512MB VRAM systems to use CryTek's HD pack is to place the pak into the gamecrysis2 folder.

If the game loads these textures without verification, why wouldn't it load MalDo's pack? Does someone want to give it a shot?

What would be even better is to decrypt both .pak files and combine the 2 texture packs. Taking the best of both Maldo's pack and Crytek's pack.

You know a fix to let the game release my vram ? When i start it it's always setting on 1.2gb vram, uses my maximum amount of ram, even with the high textures pack OF.

yep it works . for the singleplayer tho , it needs to be loaded as a mod, for multiplayer is not getting ranked servers only unranked..

u need to add the specs of the mod in 2 txt files and place on mod folders

Take a look Here.

Someone decided to try doing it the old way, and it worked.

And on page 20, someone found out that you autoload it. Check it out.
