Male Argonian Dragon Shout

Post » Sun Oct 16, 2016 1:58 am

With the release of Skyrim SE, I have been trying to find if this glitch has finally been fixed. The male argonian player character has never had the correct voice for his dragon shouts. He sounds like a Nord. Ive tested the female argonian and both Khajiit genders and they all have the appropriate accents with their respective dragon shouts. I dont know how this was missed in the last five years. Ive owned Skyrim on the PC, xbox 360, and PS3. Ive also oqned the legendary edition. All iterations have had the wrong voice for the male argonian. Ive tried contacting bethesda through both email and phone. All i get is someone in support saying theyll send my request to the right department. I have no proof that the skyrim developement team knows about this glitch. This forum is all i can think of. Has anyone else noticed this glitch? I just want to finally be a male argonian that sounds like an argonian. What better time for it to be fixed than the Special Edition?

None of us know how the major bugs were missed.....or more accurately.....ignored

Over the last five years

Or you could just use the Unofficial patch.

Of course it bothered me since male Argonian was my first (and second) character in Skyrim.

What I think is cool is that when a male Khajiit does a power attack he sounds EXACTLY like Brian Johnson from AC/DC at the beginning of the phrase "you've been thunderstruck!!!"

When I first heard it I actually checked the credits to see if he lent his voice to the game.

I was so upset about this that I refused to use shouts. Then I found a mod on Nexus that made your character shout fus-ro-dah (and one more shout I can't remember) in Draugr voice. Draugr fus-ro-dah sounds amazing regardless what your character is. So I played a full playthrough with the occasional fus-ro-dah. Hope next game they'll show more dedication to make the beast races unique.
