M'aiq the Liar*

Anyway, M'aiq explained that his father and his father's father were all named M'aiq. So it'll probably another M'aiq.

M'aiq.
His name is M'aiq. His father's name was M'aiq, his grandfather's name was M'aiq, according to him. It is not the same M'aiq.

Btw, M'aiq never looked better IMO.

It's M'aiq the Liar, just so you know.

But he is in TESO. I should know because when I played the beta, I encountered him! What are the odds of that?

EDIT: he's also not the one from past TES games because all his ancestors were named M'aiq but it's the same voice actor though.

You are forgetting he's the Liar though, he is an easter egg, but it's never confirmed either he is immortal or it's simply "family business".

Exactly. It's just his ancestor by the same name.

Besides, from what I saw of him, Maiq is not following his original intentions. in previous elder scrolls games he said heated points of discussion/real world references(though in joke form)

for example from morrowind on horses "Horses.... Oh, M'Aiq loves horses! Especially with good cream sauce." and "You would wish to ride upon a beast? There is a way... Go to one of the many silt-strider ports and pay your fee! You wish one for personal use? Bah! Walk if you must; run if you are chased!"

and in oblivion- M'aiq believes the children are our future. But he doesn't want them ruining all of our fun."

He is Sheogorath's cat.

Or Sheogorath himself.

Who knows...

@benartist, it's most likely his ancestor. No one knows for sure because M'aiq the Liar says stuff that you really can't tell whether it's a lie or the truth.

In ESO, he talked to me about the Khajiit and Argonian's racial abilities (or the lack of two of them).

If you listen to M'aiq fully and know the lore a bit you can make funny connections sometimes, even if what he says, initially, seems gibberish.
