Man, I can't get over how big this game is...

(Maybe a tiny spoiler if you haven't been to this area)

But i just began exploring the area just south of good neighbor, and i'm just completely in awe at how much there is to search out. I just managed to fight my way through a bunch of gunners and super mutants, to the top of a tower and reached the highest point I've been in the game so far. I got a birds eye view of the city, and man... i'm just surrounded by an entire plethora of towers, some even bigger than the one i'm stood at the top of.

I now don't even know where to start on exploring the rest of this place, and I can only imagine whats to come further down the map.

So how are you guys finding it? Blown away by how big it is like me? Or maybe you think it could be bigger?

Big props to Bethesda either way though, this game really is something :)

yeah its awesome, i restarted yesterday,, first was just getting use to the systems so i got to about level 25 and didn't see prob more than 25% of that map and most of those locations i didn't even fully explore or even go into and i prob did about 17 quests, so this time it will be a more of a full playthrough and doing things a bit more precise, since the first was a bit sloppy, i like doing a bit of everything, settlements, collecting bobbleheads, doing some quests, i've only done the first two brotherhood of steel quests so this playthrough i'll do more of it but i take my time with these type of games and, it prob took me a month or more to finish fallout 3 main quest, i just did soe much exploring and restarted a couple times, but yeah i did on this game i give it a solid 9.5, i can't think of an open world game i like better.

The verticality is definitly adding a ton of depth to the game for me. The map seems big and well thought out for placement of settlements and cities. Sometimes it seems a little too condensed but then again, I don't really want to spend a ton of time running through nothing like New Vegas. There's enough 'nothing' for it to make sense in a wasteland of Boston. I enjoy the setting a lot

Yeah, it is suprisingly big. The map LOOKS small, but I'm Level 26, and I've only traveled to about 40-50% of the map. EDIT: 50 hours spent in-game so far.
