MAN TERRORIZES CRYTEK STAFF FOR 3RD DAY, ANSWERS FORTHCOMING

Post » Tue Oct 11, 2011 8:41 am

Again I return to the forum to address Crytek regarding the glitched 'Dedication' achievement and to make a promise to the community and gamers everywhere that I will get answers at the very least, but hopefully results. It has now been three days since my official campaign kicked off and no answers have been received. I've decided that if we have yet to receive answers by the end of week #1, it's time to begin the next phase of this quest.

CRYTEK, IF I HAVE RECEIVED NO ANSWER BY 10/14/11 I WILL BEGIN TWEETING YOU AT LEAST 5 TIMES DAILY EVERY DAY WITH MY REQUEST FOR A FIX TO THIS GLITCH. If the Twitter campaign combined with the one here fail to produce answers after a second week I will begin e-mailing any and all Crytek staff members I can find an e-mail address for once a day.

When will you fix the glitch? Inquiring minds want to know.

I like this idea, but of course I would say that; I've lost my way here in this abandoned abyss. I am but a shadow of my former self.

Please post all Crytek contact info here, so that we may all valiantly support your peaceful protest by spamming the **** out of these Crytek employees. They will simply block your incoming messages, at least those going through their email servers. So you will need more supporters/spammers if you truly want to show how "Dedicated" you are. :)

Phrase all email subjects as something which looks official, ie:

1) QA update: 10-sep-2011

2) SOP revised_Warehouse

3) Change to TOS imminent

3) Request for time off_10/10/11

Subjects like this will do for Crytek UK, but run it through a German translator if you're sending it to Crytek HQ.

Posting any contact information here for malicious intent will result in a swift ban from the forum and possibly further action.

For the original topic, we've come in here before and acknowledged this problem, and as I said before, people are being spoken to internally to see what our next step is with this particular issue, but until a decision is reached or something communicated back to us then we have nothing we can tell you.

I will continue to remind people of this issue and update you here with any news, but beyond that I don't think anyone wants me to keep saying "we're looking into it".

Cry-Tom. It is a simple fix. I really don't see what these "internal" people are doing besides ignoring their customers. All they have to do is put a patch out that simply lets the trophy/achievement pop when one plays online. It is obviously something with your servers and there has not been a single response aside from "we're looking into it". When we pay over $60 for a game, that response simply does not cut it. Why is it so hard to give us a firm answer as to whether or not there will be a patch for it? I am sick and tired of trying 2-3 matches everyday in hope that this trophy/achievement will pop. Or you can be a company like Valve, who actually care about their customers, and simply release a patch that gives out the obviously glitched trophy/achievements. There are people who have had the game for less than 3 months and they have the trophy/achievement and yet those of us who bought it day 1 are just left wondering. It's unbelievable how a gaming company will simply ignore all of their gamers.

Cry-Tom svckadike Son. Ban me! I don't give a ****. But threats of legal actions against your most irate fans? Is that what you really implied here!?! BAN CRYEK. BOYCOTT! Plain and simple.

Legal action needs to be taken against Crytek by EA and Microsoft, because your taint is starting further mar their reputations. Unfortunately they too are being blamed for Crytek's fawk ups

Man where is Anonymous when you need them to sort something out? Is a DoS "protest" in order? I surely wish I had their number on speed-dial.

If I had half their technical savvy I would first start by fixing this broken game for all those still hopeful out there. You know what goes around comes around. Big business is finding it harder to keep all information "internal" especially those with piss pore programing and net-codes.
