It's Man's World

So, I'm curious as to who is playing Skyrim, and what they are playing as in their first, second and thirds playthroughs.

:tes:

Edit: Added second and third playthrough options.

A man playing as a man, second play through might very well be a woman (I'll still be a man though).

I'll play as a man.

The only time i've played a female is in Jedi Academy. That was because my fav race(Twi'lek) could only be played as female though.

It's quite disturbing the amount of male players who use mods to overly sixualise their female characters. It's also disturbing that in TES/Fallout games their is an over abundance of such mods.

I never played a female character in games, I might try it out. They don't really have any differences do they? Do they have like a apron, cooking utensils, home made pies in their inventor automatically from the start?

Well played, sir. Very well played.

I'm female playing as female. Though I will be trying a male Nordic Wizard as second or third playthrough :)

Personally I think a female charcter is just as viable as a male to be Dovahkiin. And the female variations of the armours are so good. Especially the one in the DB entrance pic.

The more general form of this poll ("will you play a male or female character?") has come up several times. Each time, with hundreds of responses, the general percentage has been about the same - ~81% male, ~19% female.

Am I the only one who read the post title and now has that song stuck in there head?

:whistling: This is a man's world, this is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl :whistling:

..............A-n-y-w-a-y I'm a woman playing as a woman for my 1st play-through and I'll be a woman playing as a man for my 2nd.

Don't see the appeal in playing as a woman. I like to roleplay a bit and as I've said before, roleplaying as a woman while I'm a dude seems paramount to cross dressing.

Why must you disappoint me so?

I am a male that always plays male characters, unless playing a female provides me with that much more of a different perspective instead of just being referred to with feminine pronouns. If males and females have different quests/endings, then I will consider rolling a female character.

Well, that's cool. I'm male playing male for my first and second playthroughs (Dunmer nightblade, Nord battlemage). But I'm thinking of playing a female Altmer warrior for my third or fourth playthroughs. Going against the grain can be fun, after all.
