Mania or Dementia

Post » Wed Sep 30, 2009 9:54 am

I chose Dementia, love the green and blue hues in the atmosphere.

Also love how sheogoraths darker side always chimes in at the end of his manic sides words.

Also the Dark seducers/Mazken are polite.

The Mazken are definitely my favorite of the two groups. But honestly, environment and feel wise, I like both regions. They both have their own..."charm..."

I prefer Dementia. I like the Mazken better. And the inhabitants. Also I love alchemy and I think the ingredients are better in Dementia.

When I first got Shivering Isles, I thought I'd like Mania better. But it didn't work out that way.

Well, both. Sort of.

I prefer the Mania part of the isles, but Crucible over Bliss

Dementia all the way. I love the swamps and little islands everywhere. The Mazken are much more pleasant to be around than those snotty Aureals, and Crucible has a lot of personality (shabby personality, but still personality), that Bliss just lacks.

With the exception of the Auriels, I prefer Mania.

Dementia all the way, hands down, no doubt, every time!
I love the atmosphere about Crucible and the villages. I like the aesthetics they chosen for it.
The more demented side of things appeals to me lol, also I think they've made Crucible look more a part of the side it's on than they have with Mania.

For me it depends on the character but Tag my Khajiit Knight prefered Mania since theres lots of pretty colours :).

Carone-Ah on the other hand is twisted inside his head already so Dementia suits him alot better being a Argonian barbarian who is at war with the imperial scum.

I like Mania better in almost all respects, though I definitely prefer the Mazken. My only character (so far) who's a full-time resident of the Shivering Isles much prefers Dementia though.

My first char preferred dementia... but as becoming the royalty of mania is the only thing stopping me from plat (which I don't care about, but since it is so close...) I am making a new char that will be more maniacal. Personally I probably prefer Dementia.

I like both, they exist as a kind of balance so thats what I do I switch between the two. If I had to pick one though it would be Dementia, mostly becuase I prefer the Mazken over the Aureals and I cant help but think Thadon really sums up Mania.

I prefer Dementia. The Mazken are polite, compared to those stuck up Aureals. I like all the dark humor. I'm a bit paranoid, so I'd fit right in. Besides, Mania looks like Alice in Wonderland.

Mania's landscape is gorgeous. But Black Tar only exists in Dementia.... so, Dementia.

At first, I played through as Mania, but by the time I realised I didn't like it, it was too late to turn back. :(

I'm doing a new playthrough now as Ganon the Dark Elf "Black Blade", and he's going to do Dementia.

I like Mania, I think it has to do with me being an optimist and always trying to see all of the vibrant color and beauty in everything.

I like Dementia's introspection-inspiring atmosphere, but it's people are too... sad and angry for me.

I don't travel to SI very often though, it's beautiful but you never get that feeling of "something isn't right here" out of your head.

I like to roleplay as Sheogorath, and every time I go to the Isles I like to spend my time in whichever region suits my mood. When I feel particularly evil I travel around Dementia, but when I feel more calm I enjoy gathering alchemy ingredients in Mania. Usually, I just hang out in the palace, but which section I stay in (I modded it so that I can enter either house) is determined by my mood.

But under normal circumstances, my favorite would have to be Mania.

Definitely Mania I find it way more interesting to explore than boring old swamps in dementia, though I do enjoy a visit to cutter's when I visit the city.
