Mantling Question

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 3:09 am

I can't think of anything to add at the SSoS discussion but I have a theory regarding others things.

You are able to kill Vivec anytime in MW. Would killing him anytime after he gives you Wraithguard mean that you (The Nerevarine) mantle him?
Nerevar was a friend to him, but Vehk betrayed and killed him. The Nerevarine could do the same to Vehk. Of course, it's the motives that matter. Also, I assume that mantling one with CHIM does not give the mantler CHIM. That would be quite far-fetched.

You all forget what MK said.
Mantling and incarnation are separate roads; do not mistake this. The latter is built from the cobbles of drawn-bone destiny. The former: walk like them until they must walk like you. This is the death children bring as the Sons of Hora.

A Shezzarine can't mantle Shezzar. A Dovahkiin can't mantle Akatosh. This is why Tiber Septim, an Dragonborn and thus incarnate of Akatosh, mantled Shezarr instead.

You're the Ruling King. You already have CHIM.
