Manual Save and Weapon Limit

So far my 2 biggest beefs with the SP aspect of the game are that they have done away with the manual save option and reduced the weapon limit you can carry. Being able to create a save point apart from the auto save check points would go long way to reduce game play frustration - at least on my part.

Also, I hate choosing between carrying the Marshall and either the Scarab or sniper rifle or giving up my sidearm. I would hope these issues may be addressed in a future patch.

Also, is anyone able to access the console commands? When I enter the con_restricted 0 command it comes back as unknown.

Playing on Intel iMac with4GB Ram and Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium via Bootcamp. Machine has "Unsupported" ATI HD4670 but it plays smoothly on High setting and looks great.

I agree with you 100% on these points. I can't understand for the life of me why Crytek took out the manual save option. I've already had several points in the game where I've had to replay probably 50 times because I couldn't manually save after making some progress. This really seems like it was a console game first, which is really a shame.

the most annoying thing is that the leaked beta had quicksave/quickload.
and lots more things besides which was removed in the final version.

Yeah, the game really feels like a console port, not a PC game...
