So are these the true Brink forums where the devs can read out input or are the splash damage ones the correct forums just wondering anyone know?

Splash Damage is the developer, and the devs read and occasionally respond on their forums. It's also not as, uh, restrictive, as this forum.

Bethesda Softworks is the publisher, Splash Damage is the developer, so Brink has two official forums.

Even though they are rather moshpits, because they aren't structured yet.

Moshpit + Frat party = awsome forum Idea.

Seriously though, this is one of 2 official forums like the Mod said.

The problem with the SD forum is that things rarely get answered.

If by rarely, you mean far more frequently than here, then yes, I agree.

Isn't rarely the opposite of frequent? I however wouldn't know which forum answers questions better because I never visited the SD forums.....

Well you have to wade through about 3 pages worth of stupid jokes and snide comments to get to them. did on all my questions, anyway. I still go there and have for aaaaaaaages, since I started playing W:ET. I just don't post much. Same with here. I read far more than I post. I dunno. I just took to the Bethesda forums better.

That's probably a fair assessment. Still though, I think the management is a little more equipped over there to be answering technical questions about the game, and do so a good deal more often.

I think the fact that the Bethesda fourms are more restrictive is a good thing, keeps down the asshatery.

There's no problem with asshattery over there that there isn't here. They just manage it with infractions rather than outright censorship. There's something to be said for letting people duke it out themselves every so often, anyway.

Everybody says that www.thebrinkforum.com is by far the best forum ever created for any game, ever. Mark Zuckerberg wishes he had created it, I heard.
In the movie, Will Ferrell will be playing me.

I heard the SD forums were a lot like the Steam forums in that it was mostly populated by hardcoe PC gamers that'll jump on you if you so much as mention owning a console.

But that's just what I heard so...

I vote that Will Smith plays me.

OT: I hope they either delete SD one, or merge them somehow. Having separate official forums will really mess it up.

that ain't gonna happen, the SD forums will be used for mapping and modding as always, and this is the "Official" forum according to Bethesda via www.brinkthegame.com

I read trough the SD forums occasionally to see what they're discussing. Everything important will be posted here as well, by the people who follow both forums. I also think that this forum is more active.

Chris O'Donnell plays me

Merge hmmm..... i guess their could be a third one that you just transfer everything. and everythings new like the devs and BS watch it. But that would require alot of people who prob dont nescessarily like each otehr to be on the same forum.
