Map help

Post » Sun Mar 10, 2013 7:51 am

So I've been all over the place in skyrim but my map turned all cloudy. I can't see ANYTHING. No terrain, rivers, lakes, cities, etc. etc.

Please help! I've spent an hour looking for an answer on the google but I can't find anything!

I have never experienced anything like this, as far as I know. Can you post a screenshot, like through photobucket.com or something similar? I'm trying to picture what you are talking about and am having trouble :)

What's the weather outside the map like?? I find that if it's clear and sunny then the map is shown in the same way, if it's cloudy and miserable out then the map is shown in that way. I think the maps weather is tied into the world weather, I could be wrong though... :D Wait a couple days for some clear weather OR use the Clear skies shout and see if the map clears up.

I'm on PS3 so I don't know how to screenshot unless I take a picture with my laptop of my TV and send you that o.O --

I've tried using Clear skies, doesn't work. The weather is clear and sunny if I look up in the sky there isn't a cloud in sight but on the map it's like everything is un-discovered yet I've been all over.

Hmmm that sounds like a bug..... One that I've not heard of nor encountered myself. Sorry man I really don't know of a way to fix it, short of re-discovering everything again. Does it clear up when you visit a spot like it does when you first discover a location?

I may have to un-install then re-install skyrim + all the DLCs .. -.- takes way to long.

I was at Fort Dawnguard when I decided to check the map. Everything was clear. No clouds in sight. I could see High Rock, Hammerfell, Cyrodill, and Morrowind. The lands were dark green though.
