I got a little simple question here. When I go into "Settings" to re map the key bindings to my liking, is it just me or the game will not accept mouse key bindings??

Yes it does.

Go into Settings, select Controls, then Action Mapping. this defaults to keyboard but in the bottom right hand side of the screen select the "Device" option. From here you can pick the mouse and customise the controls anyway you like. Useful if you've got a multi-button mouse.
