Ideally: I want to overlay a grid onto the map in my Render Window so I can easily construct things based on predetermined distances.
I'm trying to recreate my local area in real life as part of the world in Oblivion. In order to accurately create the world though I'm going to need a way to place things at appropriate distances inside the construction set and I'd like it to be a little more precise than "That's about right"
is there a way to put a grid onto the map for distance-guidance?
If there are other ways to accurately and easily measure distance I'd be happy to hear that too.
