I hope I'm posting this is the right forum. The story is, I fell in love with Marcurio because of his delicious sarcasm and interesting comments during adventures. However, after I married him he just stopped talking. All the wit and conversation was gone.

I don't know if this happens to all spouses, and whether it's a bug or just how the marriage bit in the game is designed, but is there any way to fix it? Or any mods that make your spouse talkative and fun again?

unfortunately it isn't a bug . I DO believe I read on one of the thread's that someone had come up with a Mod that gave all the spouses back their original dialogue + the spousal stuff. But I haven't looked that one up... I'm on 360.

Sounds like a blessing to me. I had a female character who married him once. "Hello darling! Home from some adventure I bet." Almost puked.

Reload save game prior to marriage mistake. Now he's a follower only! Maybe the best follower I have, but wish he'd become mute...

Heck no, I loooove that snarky attitude. That's what makes Marcurio....Marcurio.

Never never marry Marcurio! Of all lobotomized spouses, he's the worst. They could have least have given him some snarky married dialogue lines instead of that awful "let me lick your shoes"-attitude that's completely out of character. (A side effect of the fact that his lines are used for all marriable npcs voiced by the same actor. )

One of my characters married him because that was what made sense RP wise, but I did it very late in her game, and I'll never do it again.

Apparently all hirelings lose their random comments when married. I suppose that meand we should be glad Teldryn Sero can't be married, then...
