Okay, so in my party I have Xarn, Marcus, and Vic. im trying to get the thing from navarro for the oil tanker. so i tell them all to wait outside, then go in, kill the commander and everyone inside, get the thing, and come back up. Xarn and Vic follow me when I tell them, but when I tell Marcus "Let's go", he says that he "thought you were one of the good ones". any idea what this means?

only thing i can think of maybe is that I stole 2 stimpacks from a guard so i could kill him in 2 turns instead of 3. but this shouldnt prompt him to hate me for stealing from a guy i was about to kill who is a bad guy.....

any help is appreciated. i also have the slaver mark, but i had that before i recruited him, and my karma is in the low 600's. WTF?!?!?!

Pretty sure he doesnt work with slavers. I dont know how he managed to join you before.

What is your current Charisma?

charisma is i think 6. like i said, i had all 3 in my party, tell them to wait, enter navarro, and now he wont come with me.

is there any way to get rid of the slaver mark? i only really did it for quick money at the start, and i dont care to do it any more when i get far more cash for traded enclave supplies

Might be worth double checking you're not under the effect of any charisma withdrawl by looking at your character sheet.

i have no drugs or other effects currently, i know that for sure.

i read that wearing advanced power armor makes him do that, but even taking it off yields no different results.

I'm fairly sure Lenny won't join you either if you're a slaver.

so thats why he wont join.....

but that still doesnt explain why he joined me in the first place? hmm.......

if i cant get him to be useful, who else is a good replacement that will work for me as a slaver?

hm. no way i can continue without a big guns companion, and theres no way im going to try and take on the whole base with my party.

i think ill sneak in and finish the espionage way, and then start a new character that wont make the same mistake.

to be fair though, I always wear power armor and my karma is in the 600's, so i think ive atoned enough for enslaving 2 parties of people.


at least i can get into sierra next playthrough.

tbh, I never travel with Marcus, or let any companions touch big guns. They have this nasty habit of hitting me, and you cant take marcus through the oil rig without everyone attacking you.

So you went to Navarro with Marcus and he will not follow you after you came back out?

Or you have the slaver mark and he will not join you in the first place?

If you had him and you went with him to Navarro but once you came out and now he will not follow you it could be because you "kill the commander and everyone inside."

But you made two groups of people slaves, for the rest of their lives. Thats not the sort of thing you can "atone" for.
