About Marcy, I have tried building her and Jun a really nice house, nice furniture and outfit and still she snaps at me. The other day my level 72 character overheard a conversation between her and her husband:

I put her in silly clothes everytime she sasses me. Which is a lot.

I should put her in a clown costume.. It might keep me from wanting to stab her in the face multiple times. Can't make her move to another settlement either.

Then we should tell her to get over it. People have suffered worse than her. Our characters lost their world to a nuclear war, saw their spouse shot and child kidnapped, yet they're not sitting around feeling sorry for themselves. In most cases this would be the part where we'd get a quest to go avenge their loss by slaughtering the group of Raiders that killed their son (whether they join us or not is optional), but we don't get that. We get her constant bitterness every time we get near to her. She has NOTHING nice to say, even if we build a lavish settlement for them.

And the worst part is, they're essential for absolutely no reason, and we can't evict them. We can evict Preston and Sturges, but not these two?

This is why I moved away. Started using the workshop where I lived instead.. Red Rocket.. Building a house on the island now..

She was working on my power armor and had some sort of wire coming out of her wrist connected to the armor and she was typing on her wrist as if she had a Pipboy.

Could she be, or is that just an animation intended for the players character?

Let's give her some love, people. She works for you, fights attackers for you, and lives in a third-world dump of a settlement. YOU would all be grouchy like her too. The shocking thing about this game is NOT ALL settlers are like her.

She gets: food, security, gear, shelter (as best the workshop can provide), and companionship at my Sanctuary Hills (Very few real settlers in my Sanctuary Hills, mostly Companions). It is a far cry better than the hole they lived in in Concord. If she doesn't like it she can go back to Quincy...

For some people, you just have to go beyond your normal line of duty in the love-giving department. As Jun says, please don't mind Marcy, she suffered a lot... Too bad we can't romance Marcy, since she is the one person that needs some obviously.

Maybe we should give some love to the actress who plays Marcy. If a character is able to get a rise out of all of us, it means the voice actress did her job. Google the pics for Alejandra Gollas. Not bad at all. Very effable, I mean affable...or both, lol.

I like Marcy. Never understood why everyone else hates her. I always bring her back something nice when I go scavenging.

Maybe her constant complaining and berating reminds me of my mother.
