X marks the spot on HardCopy map : V

My firs post eva. Just want to find out where the x'es on the hard copy map leads to?

I was thinking that too, but the Treasure near Whiterun (Treasure 4, which I've found) isn't where the Hard Copy Map has an X. It's not far, but it's not the same spot. And the in-game treasure map was spot-on.

Someone just told me it may be rune stones, bur that does not match up to the rune stone near river wood

I hope someone has gone there to test this out

You know where Treasure 3 is? If you can point me in the right way I would really appreciate it.

It is those rune stones ie. the mark of the lady , thief and so on

The one east of Whiterun is definitely a guardian stone. Found also the lady, but now I don't remember where

The lady one is in on a river on an island close to Riverwood
