Marriage Amulet? What?

Post » Thu Sep 29, 2011 3:14 am

Really? When this was found out a while ago, everyone HATED it and thought it was completely stupid. I can deal with the single amulet thing, where wearing one shows people that you're interested, but different amulets attracting different races/people? No, just, no.

What exactly is so bad about that?

Aside from it being completely unrealistic and a stupid immersion breaker to remind you that it's just a game?

Why not? I'd prefer an amulet that only works on human and elven ladies to one that works on anything with a pulse, for my own part. It would be a pain in the ass to constantly have to remember to take it off or put it on every time you talk to a different character.

The amulet activates the relationship dialogue so you don't have to see it everytime you talk to an NPC.

Would you rather have all the dialogue available to you at once and have Skyrim look like a dating simulator?

This made me feel a lot better about it. Thank you very much for your input.

(I'm not being sarcastic. I reread my post for spelling and it sounds really sarcastic to me so I am just clearing that up.)

If you are a Star Trek fan, think of it as a horgon on a chain. If not, then um... you can still think of it as a horgon on a chain but you will probably not know what a horgon is so it won't help.

You're so awesome for knowing this.

It is just a game. It's unhealthy to think otherwise.
