This is only a game!! I play it for killing people, stealing and training my abilities as a gamer. And for, of course, explore the game at MAX.
Do you really want a brothel? GO FOR IT in real life, dude. No, seriously. It's logical. What's the fun about it in the games? Or even what's the point?
Want to love? Love truely someone, not a bunch-o'-bytes. For shor's bones!
Well that's great, and I'm very happy you are enjoying the game.
But we all play for different reasons, which is the beauty of Elder Scrolls. Some want the challenge of becoming the best fighter out there, some to discover the story, others to wander around and immerse themselves in this living, breathing world, and so forth. Some want it all, like me.
I see no issue in being able to keep relationships like in Dragon Age, whether for six, love, friendship, or just a helping hand in battle. It provides more attachment to your character, and makes it extra rewarding to keep playing once you've 'beaten the game'.
Marriage, working as a lumberjack, decorating your home, collecting books are all activities that aren't necessary for the game to be the action-adventure you obviously prefer, and yet they all make it better simply by being possible. The world feels more alive, and because of that, it feels more worthwhile and entertaining to go out and kill people, save the world, and so forth.
And for the record I do have a girlfriend whom I love very much, anyone should be able to figure out this issue is all about immersion, not about finding a substitute for real life six. There's porm for that, for those who need it.
