Is there any solid reason why we cannot marry characters that are hot?
Vivienne Onis (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vivienne_Onis), doesn't involve in any quest, opens a shop with her mom, is not married, Why not?
Lisette (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lisette), one of the fewest Breton female in the game, fair skin and hair, Why not?
Svana Far-Shield (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Svana_Far-Shield), single, obviously hot as Sibbi is hitting on her, Why not?

It seems to be like this in every game? A hot female character WHO IS SINGLE will always be unmarriable, and what we get are other junk faces. Do developers consciously make these choices? or they really thought the options we have like Ria (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Ria) is hot..

Mjoll the Lioness is alright. I believe three of the priestesses from the Temple of Dibella are marriageable. The one near the front door is hot AND flirty, and you know those girls know what they're doing

I'm honestly starting to believe that some players are just expecting that the Amulet of Mara opens up hot women, completely forgetting that you need to do them FAVOURS to unlock marriage.

And no hot women available for marriage in Skyrim? Muiri, Aela, Jordis, Ysolda, Camilla and several others would like to have a word with you...

Muiri is the only decent to be honest.. Rest are either covered in face paint, hooded, guant overall, or ancient. Now they all share the same purpose and that's to get a 2 out of 3 benefits so doesn't really matter. But I do find it strange they do not have better looking characters to choose from especially if you compare them to the gray mane chick or the bartenders. Hell that one at the mill married to the vampire is better then the selection not to mention that is an epic spot to live if she became available after the quest.

Yea, it's too bad Lisette isn't marriable. I was tempted to use console commands so that my Breton bachelor could find a proper Breton wife. Except, one day, he wandered into the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun and behold there was a mysterious and alluring dark elven maiden by the name of Janessa. She offered her "companionship" for 500 septims. Such a price seemed far too low to be by the side of this female killing machine. The way she spoke of death as an art in that raspy smoker's voice and the way she sat with her legs spread and her skirt exposed a la Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct made my heart pound out of my chest. I fled, dreadfully nervous. Never had a single female in Skyrim make me feel that way.

So I went on some adventures with Uthgerd the Unbroken. But, as we fought our way through dungeons, I kept thinking of Janessa. I know it would be difficult...here I am, a Breton, and her a Dunmer....but it COULD work. Love can solve any problem. I bid farewell to Uthgerd and made my way to Whiterun. I asked Janessa if she was interested in me. "I won't lie. I am. Are you?". I love a honest, direct woman.

We got married later in Riften. As a wedding present I gave her "Janessa's Wedding Ring" (Fortify One-handed 40%, Resist Magic 20%) along with an identical wedding necklace. Then as an early Christmas present I gave her dual fully-smithed enchanted Daedric swords with Absorb Health, Fiery Soul Trap, and Fire Damage on them. For Valentine's I gave her some skimpy Forsword armor.

She know looks like the deadly wild woman that she is. I'll never go for a human woman again. Complain all you want. All I need is Janessa.

However, I should admit that I'm jealous. In this reincarnation I'm a Khajiit female. A little bastard sneaky assasin who slides on the shadows and backstab every man or mer that crosses my path. Don't care anything about dragons or dragonborns tales. I just make me own place with my bow and my dagger on this cold and lonely land. I refuse any help or companions. But this happens just because I hasn't been able to find my soulmate. What can I do, a female Khajiit on Skyrim, when no single male of my homeland is willing have a life partner?

I was going to start this off by expressing my amazement at how obsessed people are with marrying hot women in Skyrim, then I remembered the most popular mods for Oblivion (and now Skyrim) are the nvde mods, the mods that make all the women look like perpetually 19-year-old Anime girls in skimpy black lace "armor" with their hoo-hahs hanging out. Then I face-palmed at the state of humanity.

I've seen Oblivion Boxes around in Game Stores, never bother to even look it up, lol.

Most the women are decent enough. I just don't like how their personality gets stripped, and they are turned into an ATM machine.
