Hey so everyone knows about Marriage in the game now, I just wanted to know how this will work.

Will you be only able to marry like 2 main quest characters or will there be like a few more than that?

Can you marry virtually anyone providing they like you (and are a character not just lets say, a fill character called "Nord")


Leave me your thoughts below on how you think this will work

From what I've heard you can marry any NPC in the game if you can get them to like you enough. They can travel with you and cook for you.

"Hello"

"Whats news around town?"

"So and So did this... yadayada"

"Sounds cool, wanna marry me?"

"Sure, here is some food."

Haha ok it won't be exactly like that but I just hope its not like the sims or fable where you can speak to them for like a minute then get married x]

I thought it was confirmed that not all NPCs will be marriage material.

I'm assuming most quest NPCs aren't available. And already married ones. Unless we can have affairs, which would be badass.

Someone joked about killing off their wife and a poster said "In Skyrim...this is called divorce"

I think if you get tired of your spouse, you could always drag them off to a dungeon, aggro something and watch them die. Then take all their stuff.
