Title says it all....unless your character has a role playing girl friend like Lydia or whatever.
My Nord is single and loving it. He doesn't have time for a wife...he's off slaying dragons, bandits, undead, and other things.... but I'm pretty sure when he's in the mood, he's got the septims to pay for it!

It depends on the character. I'd guess about 60% of my characters have gotten married. About 40% have stayed single.

I don't really have any interest in roleplaying virtual romantic relationships -- so, no, my characters are not getting married. I wish they had more options for friendships in the game. I do like how they implemented marriage as an optional feature and how overtures for romantic relationships are easily avoided by not wearing a certain amulet
