Re-marry in Skyrim if your wife get killed?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 2:51 pm

My wife Aela just died from stupidity. I seem can't find a way to get married again. When I wear Amulet of Mara, I see no option about marrying, tested on Lydia. Anyone know a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Try testing on another character, Lydia is bugged and can't be married by normal means.

Also I heard that to remarry, you have to not be responsible for your wifes murder, and have to have received the inheritance by courier first.

You can only re marry by means of the console on the PC. I tried it last night just to test it out and still was unsuccessful.

But other than that, how did Aela get killed? She's essential (And she is my wife as well...)

I didn't kill her. I don't know why she died if you ask me :( And what do you mean by "received the inheritance by courier". I don't get that. Thanks.

I think time made her weaken <_<. I gave her a dragon scale armor sets and she couldn't stand a power hit from me (I am using 2-handed with 120 attack). And she only use her default bow also. I am getting tired of followers slowly. Thanks for the link btw. :celebration:

I'm still trying to find my first wife. Right after we married she walked right out of the Temple of Mara, and I have not seen her anywhere since. Kinda funny actually.

They will usually go back to where you found them.
