Re-marrying in Skyrim

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 8:16 pm

How do I do this?

Look. So, I married this "Camilla Valerius" just to get a key to her house and steal everything when she was sleeping. I did that successfully and killed her and her brother because they were no use to me and I wanted the house for myself.
Now, I would like to re-marry and repeat this.
But I can't! They just say "It's a fine day with you around", but I never get the option to marry them (I do posses the Amulet of Mara).
Why this? Is it because I didn't divorce properly?

It's probably because they're all terrified of you.

you can't get married a second time, and there really is no divorce option aside from murder. you're stuck.

Why!? I have killed all the witnesses to the marriage (except the priests)! No one knows about this. This game is just soooooo unrealistic.

People run around throwing lightning from their hands, there's giant lizards flying around breathing fire and frost, and not being able to marry is the unrealistic part?

I like your reality better than mine, how do I get there? :hehe:

You can't re-marry, nuff said.

Doesn't matter what you do, you can kill, throw her/him in a cellar or whatever.
But you cannot re-marry.

There are mods out there that will let you re-marry after 24 hours (ingame).

Thanks for the responses. I have developed an even more effective strategy that does not involve rings of any kind.

I increased my pickpocketing skill, so now I just pickpocket the keys of my targets, unlock the keys to their houses and assassinate them when they sleep. Easy and free houses.
