Martin Septim in Skyrim? : V

On the Skyrim page of IMDb.com, it lists Sean Bean as voicing Martin Septim once again. Not sure what to think of this. Do you guys think its some kind of mistake, or will Martin actually be returning.

You probably get a vision of him. Remember he was the last dragonborn before us, and he turned himself into Akatosh at the end of OB, and Alduin is akatosh. I have always tought there is some sort of connection.

martan died at the end of oblivions main quest, there is no way he can come back, this is false info, unless he is in a vision/dream you have.

Martin didn't die. He turned into an avatar of Akitosh and then vanished. No one knows what happened to him. So it's plausible.

I'd..rather not, however.

it seems like it was announced by someone thats what Imdb says if you click on the sean bean link and then scroll down youll see it says announced by the TES5

I do like the thought of him coming back as a ghost or vision or something.
Or perhaps when he summoned Akatosh, they became one being, and now we have to enlist his help to defeat Alduin?

Since he ascended in Oblivion, he could return as some kind of ethereal spirit or something, and considering we already know Alduin is involved, getting other god-figured in there isn't a stretch.

While I agree with you all that Martin Septim was an obnoxious character, Sean Bean is a great actor, so I'm pleased to see his return.

Probably just a mistake as Skyrim has something like 70 voice actors while the link provided (Thank you tgl1992) only shows 21.

I hated Martin Septim for stealing all our glory. I only completed the main quest a handful of times because of Martin.

Oh wow, I hope this is not a mistake! I had posted a number of times that it would be great to have Sean Bean in the game again maybe as the spirit of Martin who came to give you a clue about why the dragons returned or how to defeat Alduin. I hope this is true! I always missed Martin...he was gone much too soon.
