Yeah, we should have more open freedoms, but it ain't Bioware's style. Kinda feels like that batarian is an unfinished quest NPC, like the Asari on the cell phone talking about paying Mr. Thax back. Seemed like there should have been some involvement with her and Thax's associate.

There is a quest for that Asari. You can find a datapad somewhere that'll expose her, can't remember where though, it's on Illium though, just can't remember which mission.

You pick up the suspect shipping receipt as you start in to find Samara and it "automatically" uploads to the mysterious Mr. Thax or whatever his name is.

I would also like to be able to shoot that Vorcha in Omega too, Shisk, I think his name is - you can talk to him, near the Quarian's salvage shop. I am generally not a shoot-y type for random NPCs, but yeah. it would be nice to shut up some of the minor annoyances.

Damn, I guess I missed that one. I was trying to get everything 100%, but I didn't want to ruin it with a strategy guide as my checklist. makes me wonder what else I missed.

Edit: yeah, the comp screen during the Samarra quest. I always got that one, it's hard to miss. I thought there was something more to the asari on the phone.

Yeah, I thought that was some glitch happening to me.

Why would you not upload? The asari is stupid enough to leave traces of her stealing from a major business man on Illium, and you'd be upholding the law (or what passes for it on Illium) and make some money in the process. She made her own bed in my eyes, if that Krogan enforcer makes her sleep in it that's not on me.

Still waiting for a nice sized DLC. How is Bioware with DLCs? I haven't bought one from them before.

I prefer it on ym Xbox as I've got a 48" TV to play it on and a proper sound system, makes the cinematic experience much better, plus I feel the Xbox controller is much better for third person shooters than a mouse and keyboard.

She is stealing off a crime boss, if it hinders him why stop her ?

Kasumi DLC is the only good BW dlc imo. Ypu wont regret it, she is one hell of a team mate.

I won't be getting it because I have enough companions as it is. I was thinking of something along the lines of more missions or planets to explore or even continuations of current missions. I would love to see a dlc that brings more in from ME1 but I know that will never happen.

Fine but you miss out on a fun mission, the locust and well a good squadmate, but no news on other DLC, and I hope for no more planets, fearing I may end up paying for a planet that makes me use that damn hammerhead, imagine if we had to pay for that stuff.

Its a character from Brink.

What about their DLCs on other games? Are they usually quality for the $? Do they have a history of being worth it?

The Liara-Shadow Broker DLC will probably come out soon.

Does DLC from ME1 carry over to the second game? Do achievements or weapons you had in the first game affect the second game at all?

Did you go back to Illium at some point?

To recap: I found the comp screen during the Samarra mission. Went to Illium, was automatically thanked by Thax's associate. The end.
Saw the Asari on the phone, freaking out about Thax. I thought to myself I wonder if there's more to this.

I have to join the chorus in saying it was a fun mission, and I find Kasumi a really good squad member - she's got overload for non-organic enemies, very helpful, and that shadowstrike is badass. And her flashbang grenade ends up being very useful too. I've found myself using her alot. I just wish they had fleshed out the character so you could talk to her like you can with other team members.

Ah, I see -yeah, that was it... the only reason I mentioned going back was the first time I played, I never returned to Illium, so I thought it was even more minor, but on a second run through, I happened to head back there and was mildy pleasantly surprised. :)

Her mission was the coolest one, she's pretty useful. And you can upgrade her flash grenade into a freakin frag.
And no, I wouldn't hold my breath for any of the cool characteristics from ME1 to show up. You'll just have to accept the trend of new games: nice graphics are more important than the actual game.

I used to buy their NWN mods, their quality is ok. Just don't like they didn't finish Witch's Wake.
