I think the whole Morinth thing might have been a more reasonable choice if bioware hadn't gone out of their way to show they're -exactly- the same strength. Morinth being more powerful might have made me consider bringing an insane mass-murderer on board. I only did it once to see how it was different - it wasn't. Fairly convinced the only change that happens on missions is a name swap. It's mad, there were deeper choices than that in the last "Make your own adventure" book I read.

Finished my second playthrough, anyway, Sort of disappointed in the whole continue thing, everybody's still talking like we haven't killed the collectors at all. Nobody died, and yet if I ask Garrus about our chances, he says we're going to lose people. Er, hello? Did he mean people losing their minds, because he's right about that one!
Do appreciate the ability to give tali a hug again, though.

Well they only have that one line just after you beat them, then everyone resets to just pre Omega 4 so you can do all the romances and convo's.

Only when you talk one on one with Morinth will she truly be Morinth. Its the lazy way out, I agree but it makes sense to disguise herself as Samara, so i'm not complaining.

That whole post-suicide mission dialog kinda svcked too, I agree. But at the same time, I felt like they were doing me a favor by continuing one with things I may have missed. Mass Effect 2 plays like a movie. To keep watching a movie after it ends is something special...so I didn't expect much of it.

Just started a new Vanguard. Gonna go and pick up Kasumi.

I have to say, I think Vanguard ended up being my favorite class in ME2 - that charge is a blast, since I can't get Shadowstrike as a skill (can I?). When I played my first Vanguard, I didn't use it much because I kept being stupid and charging into a group, but my second run with it, it was awesome. I still got killed once in a while, but there's just such a sense of reckless fun about that skill. After that, I have to say Adept is way more fun in ME2 than 1 - the powers just "feel" better, not to mention getting stuff like shockwave, slam, reave, etc.

And scale itch.

Did anyone take Garrus along on Mordin's loyalty quest. Every once in a while I hit a random bit of dialog that makes me laugh. His comment about fighting in hospitals was funny.

Have you ever taken Garrus and Tali to the citadel? I was walking up some stairs and Garrus asked Tali if she "ever missed the elevators". They then went on to have a nice conversation about a conversation that they had in ME1.

Needless to say, it was hilarious.

It requires some ini modding, but it is definitely possible. Check out the Modding is Possible thread on the BioWare forums.

Hey FALLOUTFTW, does messing with the gibbed save editor to get more hairstyles give you any slow load times? I think my load times are slower but I'm not sure what's causing it.

When I used it to get a hairstyle on one of my female characters, my load times were normal.

I'm planning to replay ME1 on hardcoe and Insanity to pick up some achievements; how long would a playthrough be on these settings?

Took me long enough on Insane. Mainly because enemies just do not freaking die! Being able to take multiple broadside fire from a Colossus as a soldier helped my survivability when enemies refused to die.

Yeah using powers like Warp that make enemies take extra damage is a must when fighting. Some Krogan are very hard to kill otherwise.

It's only hararassment if she doesn't like it...which she obviously does, if anything she was harrassing me...

Be warned though, Kelly will not give you the Paramour achievement, if you care about that.

I find Kelly totally annoying and naggy. And she never feeds my fish, not matter how much I flirt with her. I wish I could get her to just shut up and stop telling me over and over, that Grunt seems agitated, or Garrus wants to talk to me. I'll do it when I damn well please. :glare:

Also, how come I cannot just shoot that annoying Batarian Mad Prophet in Omega? Honestly, that would be worth any number of renegade points.

You have to keep being nice to her until she offers to feed your fish. She's not really an official romance since she doesn't give you the Paramour Achievement. So feel free to romance someone else as well.

Yah the only dailouge I get is her saying she was uprofessional, I say I like it, she has no more dialouge, damn thing has cost me so many fish. I saw a web comic that summed it up.

I wish I could interact with that guy, I've got nothing against Batarians in general, it's racist preachers that get on my nerves :P I'd put a bullet in the guy, I find that the best kind of diplomacy on Omega usually involves guns.

I'm wondering why no one in Omega just simply beat the living [censored] out of him. He's preaching anti-human sentiments in an impoverished place with no official police force, and the only people listening to him are...humans. Seriously, if that happened in real life, he would be face-down in a gutter, somewhere...

Plus whenever he says "The end is nigh" it sounds like "The end is ARGH!" to me.

"Nigh" has got to be the dumbest archaic English word ever.

A DLC adding only the ability to shoot that guy would be totally worth it.

Yeah, we should have more open freedoms, but it ain't Bioware's style. Kinda feels like that batarian is an unfinished quest NPC, like the Asari on the cell phone talking about paying Mr. Thax back. Seemed like there should have been some involvement with her and Thax's associate.
