I specifically made a new account to these forums so I could share the problem.

Quests that are bugged:

- The Molecular Level

- Road to Freedom

- The Lost Patrol

Granted, not everyones quests may be bugged, but it could affect others. Remember, you aren't the only person playing this game. After overhearing the conversation in Diamond City about the Freedom Trail I immediately went to Boston Commons. I promptly activated the info bot and let him explain the history. After abandoning that quest and ranking up to 23, I came back to realize that I can no longer continue with the quest. Apparently you are suppose to head to "Old North Church" after that mission. Guess what? No North Church appearing on my map. Even worse news? I can no longer activate the info bot. The button does absolutely nothing. In order for me to proceed with the quest including the courser chip, this mission is vital.

So how does this tie into "The Molecular Level" you say? I can't find the Railroad without doing "Road to Freedom" (the quest that is bugged). So, until there is a patch opening up this quest, I give up. There is only so much side-quests one can do until complete bordem settles in.

So what about "The Lost Patrol" mission? Oh, it's glitched too. I have every step completed, but its not removed it from my pip-boy menu. Every single step is grayed out and has a check next to it, but it's still active. I'm new to the Fallout series, and this is by far the buggiest game I've ever played, ever. Games freeze, missions don't unlock, companions disappear, waypoints don't show up, mobs become invincible, companions get stuck, just.... the stupidest most frustrating game i've ever played. Please patch this so I can at least get some enjoyment out of it. Glitches happen here and there, but this is game-breaking.

Before someone decides to get smart and say "revert to a previous save", that would mean I would revert back to like, level 5. No way.

The road to freedom quest from what I can tell from your post is not a glitch problem. All you have to do is go back to the bot you activated for the quest and find a line of red bricks that are on the ground. Once found, follow that red trail of brick to the next disc on the ground, your character will respond to seeing each disc with symbol written on it, follow the trail to the next disc on the ground and so on until you find the church at the very end of the red brick trail.

I actually abandoned it at one point and went back to investigate more, as I thought it was glitched too. You will never see a point on the map for the old church until you actually locate it during the hashing out of that quest.

Purchase a guide and a lot of the things you are complaining about will be easy to resolve.
