Massive glitch that's not only effecting me!

Basically once I started on the last few missions, my view was locked to first person and I've tried everything but L1 doesn't work.
I've tried changing the controls, loading up a previous save, pressing all of the buttons, changing my outfits, moving to different locations, but nothing has worked.

I put SO MUCH effort into this character and completed the game with him (even though I was locked in one view through the ending), and I just installed the new DLC.
Please don't make me have to create an entirely new character, I thought this problem would be fixed in the update, but it's still not and I play this game mostly for the character customisation, I can't play it without being able to see my character.
All those new outfits and weapons will be pointless to me if I can't see them. I may as well run around naked. Roleplay means so much to me, this has to be fixed otherwise the game creators are not letting me play the game for no fault of my own.
I don't have the time to make a new character and play through the entire game again just to get to the DLC at a decent level.

I have looked around and found others with the same problem who have had to stop playing.
There has not been a fix or any consideration to do so, please take this into account as I did buy this game and expect to play my money's worth.

Mind you, there is also a glitch that made the robot disappear that I can repair to gain the mutant lady as an ally, this prevented me from completing achievements. At the ending it said I rescued her which I didn't, I was forced to kill her because of this bug.
I don't know if this has been fixed, but I also have that bug where I can't complete the motor runner quest.

How long as it going to take for this to be fixed? Even if they find a way, they're not going to update the game for another few months.
I just can't sit around knowing that I bought a DLC to play and can't play it.

It probably won't be. They're too busy counting our money and patting each other on the back. Do yourself a favor and go back and play Fallout3 again. That's what I did. And I was even able to get past the Waters of Life bug this time and actually finish the game.

I reeeaally want this to be fixed! I want to play the game again. ):
I had to spend 10 pounds to buy the Microsoft points to get it. I can't effort to waste that.

I've had that glitch. Every character I've made has had different glitches.
