I recently hit 100 on conjuration and learned to summon the thralls but they seem to be no stronger than the normal atronachs.
Seems more worth while to keep summoning the daedra overlord instead, making all the master level spells useless. Am I missing something?

Atronachs are still pretty good for exploiting their elemental immunities. You can kill a Dremora with AOE. Or at least piss him off.

I think thralls are exactly the same thing as atronachs, but they last forever. I could be wrong though.

Does anyone know if the thralls actually do more damage/ have more health than the atronachs?


Not using any AoE attacks though.

Was the question simply about whether or not they are useful to you personally or whether or not they have a general utility?

For you personally, use what works with how you play. For others generally, they can use atronachs if they have interest in AOE.

The goal of the thread was to find out wether our not they were usefull to me. Do feel free to add other info as well I suppose!

They are exactly the same as the atronachs, without a time limit.
If you're like me, and toss around chain lightning all the time, having storm atronachs is better than dremoras, because you can hit enemies through them without FF.

Does anyone know if tye perk that allows you to have two atronachs summoned at one time also work for thralls?
