should be able to rip off an opponents head with his bare hands with the spine still attatched.

do you think this would work?

You're assuming hand to hand exists. Bad idea.

Hand to Hand does need a revamp.

Is kicking too much to ask for this time? I think a lot of those bandits need a swift roundhouse kick to the face.

The first thing to change should be the name. People read hand to hand, and then they suddenly have the need to hold the skill to realism. Something like Martial Arts skill, unarmed, or something along those lines. Warriors have daedric swords that holds a power that is so unrealistic it hurts, archers have bows that can light arrows on fire magically and arrows that can deal fire damage to begin with, theives now have daggers that will be ungodly powerful with that x10 sneek multiplier along with 100% camelion...

And yet, when people bring up a cool yet unrealist hand to hand skill or weapon, people say it breaks immersion...

I'll admit, ripping the heads off people is to much, even for me. But Hand to hand needs to be re-done. I love playing this style. I throw in some magic touch spells for some sparkle, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

How about this, someone explain to me why when I punch you while I have on ebony gauntlets...I do just as much damage as I would with just my bare fist? Explain to me, please. I just don't get it, it breaks my imersion, cause it makes about as much sense as a banana riding a unicycle.

A bit over the top, but I defiantly hope we get to see some nice hand to hand finishers, like neck snapping and sneak chokes.

I asume most people want a serious overhaul of hand to hand increasing greatly both eficiency and visual impact. But this Mortal Combat trope...

Hey, I agree ripping people's heads off is to much. But there seriously needs to be an overhaul. In NV, Veronica's Scribe Counter was a great example of things that can be done with hand to hand.

I hope they improve the hand to hand. I didnt use it much in Oblivion, but found myself running around with a unique pair of spiked knuckles in New Vegas that were very effective. SO I would like to see it improved in Skyrim.

I'm not sure about that Mortal Kombat stuff, but I would like if they could buff that skill a bit and make it more interesting.

Or Khajiit, the undisputed masters of hand-to-hand combat.

Having ten extremely sharp blades on the ends of their hands probably helps in that regard.
