Okay so on the Fallout online website and im sure this has been posted before so sorry if it has,how the hell is that ugly son of a '''''''''' still alive,what the hell do interplay think their doing ive been a fallout fan since 1 came out back in 97 but if they bring back the master they have a good chance of ruining is character!

I don't think that "The Master Lives" is meant to be taken literally. What the line probably means is that both his memory and his vision live on in his followers.

Pretty much this, it's figurativally, not literally.
