Never hurts to try, plus Im done now sending PM's. The most we can do is sit and wait at this point, lets just hope they consider this idea or make an even greater idea from it. :celebration:

Hm.. Maybe the title aint that attracting.. Maybe ''Community Tournament Idea'' would be better? :l

Not sure if you can change it now however, but.. Eh, hopefully the PMs will help us

Or just Brink Tournaments haha but we will just have to see if this will pan out, if the older members were to by chance show the Admins or get in contact with Bethesda or S.D. that would ulitimately help us out kinda like how they have Wraith's poll now that can't be deleted I wonder if they can do the same thing with this topic?

Yeah, all we need is to show them the idea, so we maybe can plant a seed and watch it grow

We need mods, or members of high status - and yes, you read right, members of high status. Some people might attract more posters/viewers becuase they are known for their thoughts and the like, almost like.. I don't know.. E-Celebrities? Oh well, you get the idea

One thing I dont understand is why are some people saying no to this, this is a pretty nifty idea and if anything your getting rewarded just for PARTICIPATING. And thank you Schwarzeis, at least we have a few that want to see this through. :foodndrink:

Everyone has the right to their opinion, even if you might not agree :P

I don't see either why people would vote no, but just having ''YES'' and ''HELL YEEAAH'' would be biased and silly - If it indeed does make it in, one does not have to play it

By the end of Monday we should probably get some more eyes to this topic, and if we get Splash/Bethesda to reply to the PMs, we might get even more

Also, as you can see.. The Splash thread got over 100 views now as soon as a veteran replied, yes - it sound silly, but I really think it is like this..

EDIT: We'll keep on going til we get an answer, I really want to see this happen :P

Lol :P

Yeah, let's try to keep this one up and rocking, but not to make it spam-bumped, that will just ruin :/

This might be considered a spam-bump.. Oh well

*Still no answers from badman
*Still no attention over at the Splash forum, they are currently using the topic to discuss the unknown upcoming Splash Damage game
*[censored]

C'MON - WE KNOW YOU WANT TO REPLY TO THIS SHIT!

According to Nail over at the Splash forum Bethesda is the one who is in charge of tournamnets and all.. Did you send a PM to some Bethesda-folks?

good idea, if they let everyone warm up for maybe 1 month - 3 months then release the start of one, it will help filter out the ones that buy game and return it in a week or two because its not CoD and the rest of us that love the game will have an extra bit of fun to look forward to.

Yeah, some warm-up / cooling down between seasons :)

But if it's gonna be like 4/year the awards maybe should be higher :P

Anyways.. I can see the competetive play being Stopwatch, where they take turn Attacking/Defending

Don't like the idea of unique weapons being unlocked by something like this, as others have said before me.

Would be awesome if they did a new set of weapon skins, or remodels of existing weapons in the game (no stat changes). Or unique gear, obviously. I'd rather not see anything that's made exclusive and has gameplay effects (which is why, if the Spec Ops and Psycho pack weapons have different stats from the normal ones, I'm going to be even more hopeful that they release them to the public after release).

Another idea is if they gave a large set of items away to tournament winners, and a partial set to the runners-up, then release the items as purchasable DLC later. Sometime between a week and a month seems like a good timeframe to me, depending how big an item pack it is.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying :P

No weapons - if anything weapon related it's gun re-skins

No one ever did the Survivals or Tournaments for MGO.

For the simple reason that if you weren't willing to glitch or Lag Switch...you wouldn't advance.

Coming from a legit team that was against glitching, we have won 3 tournaments and an exstensive amount of survival matches, without the need of using cheats. So I know for a fact, this can be implemented because if you ever played ELITE tournament the DEV's were watching over gameplay, instantly kicking out the people and banning their IP's.

Idk if you have heard of "]C" or ]okers Clowns, but back then we had a amazing team, 200+ members. Had you joined we would've gladly showed you ways of taking glitchers out.
