Materials in Skyrim

I think thats a good point with the crafting. No instead of modders putting "Super Heavy Evil Armour" in the street or a barrel somewhere, they can set up crafting recipes (or whatever is needed) so that you have to earn the armour instead of getting it for free.

I'm sure putting together crafting requirements will give people who aren't so great at quests an oppertunity to have their work not ruin the games balance =D

Yes, some Stalhrim would be very interesting, as would using anything off of a dragon that is dispatched.

Unobtainium!

A part of me isn't really that concerned about what materials are in. I'm more interested in the actual design of the armor pieces. When I play the game, I never go after mithril because it's mithril. I go after mithril because I like it's look and stats.

:nono: Oh no you did not just say you are not concerned about what materials are in after dropping the Unobtainium bomb. Armor made from unobtainium would absorb the dragon's fire, and thus becoming even stronger(Core). Or perhaps it would allow levitation like the floating mountains in Avatar. Of course it would make me svck terrible as a player since just hearing the word unobtainium makes me laugh.
