Max SPECIAL

Hello, I have Agility, Perception and Inteligence maxed out at level 10. If I find their bobbleheads it will raise it up to 11 right? Or did I just spent 3 perk points for nothing?

Bobbleheads will raise your stats to 11, so you didn't waste those perk points.

Yes, you can have all of the SPECIAL stats at 11 if you collect the bobbleheads after getting them to 10. I'm on my second play through now, and that's my plan. I've got all of them at 7-8 now, and I've left behind all of the SPECIAL bobbleheads.

i have all my points at 11 only thing is you get nothing for them being over 10 so it just the same as being at ten

Carry Capacity doesn't go to 310 when naked? You don't have 170 AP?

To max my XP reward sometimes I got intel at 10, I took the 2 point intel at night perk, I wear lab coat and ushaka hat for another 3 points and I take the 5 point intel drug/ food item along with the extra 2% xp soup. Intel at 20 when I do this for big XP. Guess I'll bump in to that bobblehead eventually ha ha.

i dont think there is a limit to health gain through endurance, carrying capacity trough strength, ap gain through agility, critical refresh rate through luck etc... ?

I normally do not max SPECIAL. I like having some things my character is good at, and some they are not as good, but still decent. Plus, I think it is more realistic for normal people to be between 3-6 normally for SPECIAL.

yes you do


same as using drugs/clothes etc to gain over ten you get beneifits


eg


str, continues to add carry weight and melee damage over 10


per, continues to help VATS accuracy and lockpicking/stealing over 10


end, continues to ad hp and slow AP depletion from sprinting over 10


cha, continues to better prices at merchants and adds to max settlement cap over 10


int, continues to increase xp gain over 10


agi, continues to increase AP and pickpockting chance over 10


luck, continues to increase critical refresh over 10, and it affects legendary creature spawn rate to i think? not as much as difficulty setting



there are diminishing returns such as with 1 character i have base 10 charisma, 5ish barter mags and the barter bobblehead i am at max best buy price with that, if i wear my charisma clothes (+4) i dont get any better prices.



the one thing it doesnt do is unlock new perks, there are no 11stat perks.

The only thing that effects chance of legendary creatures is difficulty.



Also lvl 11 perks would be an awesome addition to DLC or a content patch. :goodjob:.... Though it might pee a few people off unwilling to start a new play through.
