I have been getting back into Crysis over the past couple of months and have been levelling up on some weapons. After a point there are no more upgrades to the weapons - but there are more levels to level up to.

I am wondering if there is any point to levelling up once you have unlocked all the weapon upgrades? Does it enhance the weapon in any way - perhaps less recoil at max level? If not I guess I'll just switch to weapons I haven't got all the unlocks for...

After you have unlocked all the attachments, the weapon level just keeps up with the "kill x enemies with weapon y" skill assessment.

I would move onto another weapon to max out once you have tier10 on a weapon.
Doing this keeps the game fresh for you plus I would say a better player.
If you can master using all the weapons you get to know the pro and con's of that weapon,be it you using it or someone using on you.....

I am dreading when the time comes where I have to try and max out the L-Tag If the enemies don't jump around all the time, you're going to love L-Tag. It's ridicolously effective againts enemies who get too close and don't jump - especially if they like to cloak or run around without Auto-Armor. You can also be "a bit cheap" and melee enemies before one-shotting them if they have activated armor mode.

And yeah, I do also recommend trying to level up weapons to maximum levels. It makes the gameplay more fun and fresh because you get used to different playstyles.

I bet people thought I was trolling with it.I got a few hate mail hehe.
But your right it is a blast pun not intended.If you jump back and shoot you can shower your enemy with the thing.
Do you know whats funny.....people get killed by it.....next thing you know the respawn also with the L-Tag in search of pay back hehe.

Thing is though this weapon takes a bit of skill to use dont it.You need to know where to fire the nade and compansate for the bounce and the move ment of the enemy on the fly.

Tell you what I wish I had a capture device b/c tonight I pulled off some stomping multi - triple kills with it....
Yeah the L-Tag is no long a scarry beast to me anymore.It is now the enemys scarry beast lol....
Only another 400 kills to go lol.....
