This may have been answered at some point on the forums, but the forums search feature seems really screwy these days (I only came back here a month ago, it may have gone screwy before that)

I am wondering at what point does the semi-auto fire rate become faster than you can feasibly use due to limitations in your trigger finger speed and the games ability to process rapid mouse clicks. I don't expect a definite number, but rather just some observations from player's own experiences. My main point for this is that it helps decide between fast shot and trigger discipline. Some semi-auto guns I think fire so rapidly that trigger discipline does not remove any useable fire rate. Also some guns I feel could not benefit from the increase in fire rate from fast shot as it goes beyond the threshold of how rapidly you can actually pull the trigger.
