Retarded reviewer though. Since I got my copy through steam, it wasn't counted since it's not retail sales. I guess he derped and herped in the same thought.

Yup, online sales tend to end up not counted in sales records, so those kinds of reports are kind of stupid to begin with. Even then, it's no surprise. Crysis 2 was developed with heavy support from Microsoft, and poor PC implementation.

And you know what? They probably won't care if you do or don't.

The people that bought it for PC are generally happy (yup, me). Those that bought it for the 360 have sounded VERY happy, and even the PS3 crowd who doesn't really support new franchises that aren't first party like it (me again).

So, those of you that pass on this good PC title because it wasn't what you wanted it to be can feel proud.

Maybe you'll get your wish and Crytek will ignore the PC all together when moving forward.

I got mine from STEAM.
Anyway that review is retarded, they didn't count the digital distribution sales.

Except the many like me who can't play the game properly. Or at all in multi.

thankfully i dont give a **** about if they care or not, if you want to play a game that is all **** up on the pc version then be my guest and spend your money on a defect product
i wont, i rather spend it on other awesome games that are actually made with quality, you are talking like crysis 2 is the only good game on earth
also, you are not the generality, in case you didnt notice
the same way most people dont have or want to spend that much money on the same game for two different platforms (as you imply you did), specially if the game is not worth
imo buying a game for two different platforms is just stupid, even if it is the best game ever made, there are better things were you can spend your money on

Quite often they tend to say bad sales on pc, due to retail only figures and forget about the ea download system the steam system and everything else.

Pc has sold quite well according to steam and also on ea's download system, cant recall where i read it, it was a reviewer who said that people tend to forget to add electronic downloads on there piecharts so to speak and the pc is not looking that bad in regards to sales.

i'm not surprised with PC, they add all this DRM and need steam just to play a freaking game on PC now even offline. Not surprised PC ilegal downloads have gone up :P

Wish I could sell my game, but being a digital PC purchase it doesn't actually exist and isn't counted in sales, etc.

If ya'll haven't yet played Deep Space 2, I highly recommend it. MUCH better game, worth the cost, and not dumbed down to retarded monkey level for consoles either.

The ONLY way a PC user could possibly be happy with this game is if they are running an ancient 20th century PC with a puny graphics card and a single core processor.

Consoles are weak tea and developing for them and then merely porting the game to a PC is NOT the way to do it. You need to improve the game for more powerful PCs: better graphics cards, better CPUs, MUCH more local storage space (consolers have actually cried about the suggestion that a game should be made BIGGER/BETTER/more epic with multiple disks/DVDs because their puny consoles haven't got jack squat for storage on them...so everyone should suffer with them!).

Develop the core game and story in one setting, then generate the weaker sister version (graphics, game/level size, AI) for consoles and have the special version that pushes the capabilities forward for PCs.

Yes the person who wrote this article is not being very bias (PCers busy torrenting the game due to lack of sales). There can be a number of factors other then torrenting issues. As said by others, the game being purchased through steam and people waiting for a wonder patch before buying. That article was written by an A-hole.

So long as that patch includes a fix for everyone not being able to login with their actual gamesas username and password so we can all play MP it will go a LONG way to washing the taste of fresh rhino feces from our mouths that this broken game layed in there.

That is one of the biggest issues that has gotten chewed in reviews. Console game not updated for more powerful PCs. They retarded the game down so that it is LESS than Crysis 1 was. The graphics are weaker, the levels are smaller. They made it for the people with short bus hardware (consoles) instead of actually releasing a normal bus version when they released the PC version (better graphics, more powerful CPU, lots more storage space, more RAM, etc).

Agreed. I mean maybe crytek should have made one completely seperate version for consoles. And another completely different version for the consoles.

Now where's my silver spoon goddamnit.

It's simple. Consoles are weak. You make a game version for consoles that the consoles can handle, but then you add to it for the more powerful PCs. Simple. That is how technology advances. Rather than holding back and retarding games, graphics, AI, etc, for the lowest common denominator (consoles), you release a version that is properly hamstrung for consoles and then produce the finished product for real hardware that can help you push the envelope (PCs). With your apparent attitude, computer graphics, AI, etc, will never advance anywhere because you'd like to see everyone be happy with a retarded version of games rather than have them push it into cool territory.

I know, they should make all their games for the Nintendo and then everyone else will just have to be happy with the crappy Super Mario Brother's type games that this allows.

The game isnt a "retarded version of the game" I don't know what the hell you bought but my game looks pretty **** amazing. Easily the best looking game I currently have on my PC. There are some issues, but they are bugs and nothing more.

What you self entitled asses seem to want is photorealistic graphics that reduce your FPS to 1 BUT HEY IT WILL LOOK AWESOME IN SCREENSHOTS. Go download the advanced graphics tweak thing someone made and max everything out then stop crying about "retarded version of the game"
