CO-OP, maybe hopefully?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 6:03 am

Hello everyone i know, that i for one would at some point in time like to see an update or fallout game where there are co-op capabilities. where we could enter our friends games and play alongside them. Then when we enter their game (or them into ours) maybe have the level or number of enemies rise. I just wanted to put this out there and see if that was possible. please everyone if you like this idea post on this thread supporting it maybe if we get enough support of it we could get it.

Fallout is one of the only games that is still single player; a safe haven.

Co op and multiplayer are usually where games go to die in my eyes.

The one exception to this was borderlands, which was awesome.

If they ever make elder scrolls 6 or fallout co op I will be livid.

Beth had multiplayer functions on the table, but scrapped it due to not finding a satisfying solution, I assume they dont plan to bring it up again post launch.

Definitely not because the next move after co-op is to go mmo then you have to deal with the.... well there just isn't a polite word for what they are that wouldn't get this censored so I'll refer to them with code word "bagels". After co-op comes mmo at which point you have to deal with an army of bagels running through the world and basically turning it into a place you dread to log into.

If I'm feeling social I'll call someone on the phone, go visit them, or stand around chatting with people at a sports bar. Not try to hook up with friends, or deal with bagels in a video game, that's where I go to do MY thing, not someone elses.

No thanks.

Just FYI, they have one dedicated thread for the multiplayer discussions here: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1512524-fallout-multiplayer-discussion-thread/ so this one is probably going to be locked soon.

Absolutely not.

Enough singleplayer games have been ruined by adding completely unnecessary multiplayer.

I like my single player Fallout games personally, I won't even have a companion. But I will admit I've always found the idea intriguing. Fallout on-line would get my attention depending how well it was done but quite often its never as good.
